Basket Weaving Workshop

Make your own basket to shop at the Havens Farmers’ Market!

The hand woven "small market basket" is for beginner weavers. It will be woven in an over-under pattern with a filled in base using crow's feet as a design element. A method called twining will also be used. Overall dimensions are roughly 7" high including the handle x 7" wide x 4.5" deep.

All tools and materials necessary to complete the project will be provided by the instructors – Carol Losquadro and Patricia Robben – who are members of Basket Weavers Guild Eastern Long Island. Together they have a combined weaving experience of over 50 years.
