The Shelter Island Historical Museum's popular “Oysters ‘R’ Here!” event returns Saturday, September 27.
Included are: all-you-can-eat local oysters, beer, wine and soft drinks and charcuterie, PLUS live music by the Peconic County Ramblers, amazing silent auction and raffle items, and a special souvenir glass. And don’t miss the chance to meet and take a photo with Oscar the Oyster, the mascot of the original 1950's Shelter Island Oyster Factory, and a symbol of some of the best oysters grown on the East End of Long Island!
The event runs from 4 to 7 pm, under a tent on the SIHM lawn, 16 South Ferry Road in Shelter Island. Purchase your tickets here!
